Jjhoom India is a musical reality show wherein a screen celebrity will be paired with a professional singer, and the duo will match their vocal ability against nine other similarly composed teams. The audience will be enthralled with their favourite screen stars going through the rigours of training, under the guidance of a well-known singer and aim to win the contest and the support of their fans. The process is not going to be easy either for the singer or celebrity, and you can guess why.

What makes the show special is the fact that celebrities, who have just a basic grounding in music, are going to train and emerge as singers, wowing the viewers with their untapped talent!

Ten jodis or pairs will compete, and every week one jodi will be eliminated on the basis of not just what the judges decide, but also what the audience as well as the jodis feel.

Each week, the jodis will have to perform a song based on specific themes such as: Disco numbers, Swinging Sixties, R.D. Burman special, etc. The contestants will prepare for performances with the help of a vocal coach and a music director.

Jjhoom India is compered by the vibrant promising singer, Rahul Vaidya, and the vivacious actress Sucheta Khanna.
