People take Abhaas Mehtas negative character too seriously

Preview: Abhaas Mehta, who plays the negative character of Shyam in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, recently, faced the brunt of his on screen act.

“People often come up to me and stare blankly, after a minute of silence they will shout at me because of my heavily portrayed negative character. Recently, as Arnav (Barun Sobti) was kidnapped, I have heard so much of negative statements that actually made me ponder over my role.”
