Navya has had a good run for about 14 months now ever since it was launched in April 2011. The producers have confirmed and so has the channel that Navya will go off air at the end of June.
Navya was recently shifted to the 6.00 p.m. slot from its prime time airing and there were enough indications that the story was drawing to a close. A drama that has shed some insightful light on parents’ relationship with children and has been successful in generating a loyal viewership is finally drawing to a close with the lead pair Navya (Saumya Seth) and Anant (Shaheer Sheikh) getting married with the blessings of their parents.
Siddharth Kumar Tewary who is the producer of the show seemed fairly happy while confirming the news. He has no reason not to be since most serials do not get a chance to drive through the natural course of their story. The makers of serials like Phulwa and Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Na Kijo prior to making Navya would surely be able to come up with another popular drama very soon.
