Tellyworld was abuzz with the news that Falaq Naaz aka Tara of Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Dekha Ek Khwaab’ had been roped in to play a significant role in ‘Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya’ for Star Plus. However, the latest updates suggest otherwise and a lot to the contrary.
Reportedly, Falaq Naaz will not be a part of Pratigya but instead she has signed up for the role of Archana in ‘Khamoshiyaan’ that would also air on Star Plus. Although, we do not have an official word from the actor herself or from the channel but the sources are pretty sure of the development in the Trology Krikos’ show.
Archana in Khamoshiyan is a negative character who hails from Kolhapur and would become the first hurdle in the lives of the lead couple played by Mohit Sehgal and Mrunal in the drama.
Actors dropping out of a show to sign up for another is nothing new but opting for a negative character definitely seems to be a well thought out plan for Falaq Naaz. At the end of the day it is all about doing different things, don’t you think?
