Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai is an upcoming film that marks the return of the Samanta legacy in production. Sakti Samanta was a heavyweight in the Indian film industry and has delivered blockbusters time and again back in the 60s to 80s. Some of the most notable films of that era produced by the production company of Samanta include the cult classics Howrah Bridge, An Evening In Paris, Aradhana and also Kati Patang, Amar Prem, Kashmir Ki Kali among others.

Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai marks the debut of Aditya Samanta and Nazia Hussain in lead roles and also brings Ashim Samanta as the producer. Anu Malik goes back to his studio to compose the music for the film.

Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai is the story of two Rajput families who have been warring against each other and are sworn enemies even today. However, the young man and the young lady hailing from the respective families are not remotely connected with their disputes or enmity. The duo falls in love while they study at the Krakow University in Poland. Being born in the same hospital on the same day, perhaps there is a fate that they are destined to but what if their families find out about the love blossoming between two bitter enemies.

The trailer of Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai is more of a tribute to their past projects and also a reminder of the glory that the production house once brought to Bollywood and the music industry.
