Overtime Preview

Overtime is an upcoming Bollywood drama film produced by Serene Films.

Overtime is set in contemporary Mumbai where dreams have the potential to fly but reality does not provide the wings. Khushi is a young girl who dreams of making it big in Bollywood. She wants to become a top notch heroine but life is void of opportunity for her. Desperate to earn a living, she gives in to become a high profile call girl. She is in the midst of several characters and their conniving agendas to do better in life and reap fruitful rewards. There is a corrupt politician Aatre played by Satish Kaushik, a well to do real estate developer Huda played by Yashpal Sharma, a flamboyant and Casanova by nature architect Rajeev played by Zakir Hussain, a casting agent Shankar played by Vijay Raj who also doubles up as a film coordinator and Huda’s secretary Liza played by Aarzo Govitrikar who has her own set of schemes in life.

Khushi’s journey transcends across the lives of all these people and various circumstances pave the way for everyone to what they have been destined to. Overtime is about Khushi’s struggles to make it to the top and if at all she would succeed in her aspirations.

Overtime is a real life take on real life like characters based in a real world. The film has Javed Ali and Ritu Pathak among others singing a few numbers and it also marks the debut of writer, director and producer Ajay Yadav.

The film is slated to release on 8th June 2012.
