Michael Pinto is in his early twenties and lives in a village in Goa. He, being so simple and kind hearted has a belief that everyone in this world is like him, good, sincere and god fearing. He lives with his mother alone. Both take care of each other. Pinto has a great bent towards music. He often talks to his mother about his childhood friend Sameer who had left for Mumbai to fulfill his aspirations and dreams but has never returned back. Pinto never got any message or letter from Sameer, once he left Goa, despite his effort to keep sending him letters to know about him.

Things turn bad for Pinto when his mother passes away. Pinto decides to move to Mumbai to find the only known person left on this earth, his friend Sameer.
