Dekh Indian Circus Preview

The story revolves around the life, dreams and experiences of a family settled in the barren desserts of Rajasthan. Jethu and Kajro, the leading pair & main protagonists of the film nurture the dream of educating their children Ghumroo & Panni and strive hard to fulfill this dream throughout the film. Due to poverty, the couple has to make several sacrifices & face enormous disappointments in their day-to-day life. At every step of their life, Jethu & Kajro find themselves unfit as parents who are unable to make their children happy. Upon hearing the news about the arrival of a circus at a nearby town, the kids express their wish to attend the same, but are heartbroken to realize that the parents do not have the resources to take them.

Around the same time the Regional elections seem to be at full swing when the couple is offered monetary help for voting for a particular party. The story further unfolds as both Jethu & Kajro find themselves in a moral fix as to whether they must utilize the money to fulfill at least one small wish of their children or do what is correct on the moral grounds. The story has a powerful subject based on the impoverished and difficult lives of people living in the remote areas of rural India.
