Chakradhaar is the story of Shravan who enrolls in the Banaras University for his post graduation, falls in love and then ends up in an untoward fight with the system. Shravan (played by debutant Abhishek Anand) is a man of principles and is also a brilliant student. While at college he falls in love with Madira (Urvashi Sharma of Naqaab fame), who is also incidentally the daughter of the college principal Shrivastav (Darshan Jariwala).

Things take a rough turn when Shravan decides to protest and fight against the corrupt system and the malpractices that have plagued the university being fuelled by the local politicians. MLA Chaudhary (Yashpal Sharma) plans to destroy Shravan and manages to cause him immense harm by robbing him of everything he holds dear and then leaves him for the dead. Shravan is however saved by a cop and thereon he takes up the identity of Pandit and decides to avenge what Chaudhary had done to him.

Chakradhaar is a tale of good pitted against the bad. Being a hardcore action film, Chakradhaar sheds light on the present political scenario of Banaras and how corrupt every system has got for the worse. The film marks a comeback for Urvashi Sharma and is Abhishek’s first film. Produced by Bharat Anand under the banner of Sir JVM Movies Pvt. Ltd, the film’s action and songs has been choreographed Abbas Ali Moghul and legendary Saroj Khan respectively.

The film is set to release on 15th June 2012.
