July 14th Written Update - Summary

Arnav is surprised as he did not know that it is Khushi’s birthday. He says that she should have told him. Bua scolds Arnav. Arnav and Khushi do puja together. All are standing behind and watching them. She gets blessings from all.
Arnav apologizes. Bua is preparing food. Khushi goes to help Bua in the kitchen. Bua is doing rituals to ward off the evil eye from Khushi. Arnav watches. Bua asks if Arnav got her a gift. Khushi says no. He never wishes anybody on their birthday.
Payal is making delicacies for Khushi. Her mother-in-law comes and asks why she is doing all this. She asks her to pick up a box from top that makes her burn the food. Payal gets scolded for this.
Arnav is trying to talk to Bua but she does not listen. They lay the table. Arnav says that she should not get angry as he actually did not know that it was Khushi’s birthday. Bua serves him food. She gives him a lot. He asks Khushi for water. Khushi realizes that Arnav is having problem in eating so much food.
Arnav is not able to say Happy Birthday. Bua and Khushi get angry and force feed him. Bua says that he has to make the effort to pacify her.
Payal is getting scolded for burning the food. Akash says that he has to go to office and asks for lunch. Payal says that she will make it in 5 minutes. Her mother gets angry and says that she is too busy cooking for Khushi and has no time for his lunch. Akash goes away. Payal calls after him.
Khushi is watching as a courier comes with a parcel for Arnav. It is a gift for her. Arnav gives it to her but is still not able to wish her. Khushi sees that it is a bag. The parcel has the name of the manager on it. She likes the bag a lot. She calls the manager to thank him. Arnav takes her aside and tells her that it is his gift. She asks if he bought it, got it packed, or told him from where to buy it. Arnav says that he did not do any of these.
Payal asks Akash to wait as she will prepare lunch for him. Akash says that she does not think of anything else except her sister. He goes away without lunch.
She asks Arnav if he is going to office. He says that he is going home. He is expecting Khushi to come along. But she says that she wants to stay and talk with her father. Also, Preeto is coming so she would like to meet her.
Arnav asks Khushi if she will come back. She says that there is no other option for her.
Arnav goes home and tells this to Nani. She wonders why no one informed her. She realizes that she did not wish to celebrate her birthday after what all happened in the house. She asks if Arnav wished her and gave her a gift. He nods.
Arnav goes down with his computer. Others realize that he is preparing a surprise for Khushi’s birthday. He says that Khushi is angry with him. Others give him ideas to pacify her.
Khushi is telling Amma that she does not like the bag given by Arnav. Amma says that this is not right and Arnav will be happy if she uses that bag.
Other people in the house tell Arnav to get Salman Khan as he is her favorite actor. Arnav does not like this.
Khushi is coming home. She does not like the bag. She buys fresh tomatoes and puts them in her bag.
He is given options to go on a trip to Bali after a week. He does not like that. He thinks and then decides, but does not share with others.
Khushi stuffs her bag with vegetables and then goes home. Arnav opens the door. He is still not able to wish her. He sees that she has spoilt the bag. She is more concerned that her tomatoes have been spoilt. Nani does her aarti. She says that Payal never told her, but Arnav did. Khushi gives laddoos to all that have been sent by bua. She asks for Di. Nani says that she is sleeping. All tell Arnav to wish her and go away. Arnav is still not able to wish her. She gets angry. Arnav tells her that she cannot go inside the room. She says that she will go to her bua’s place. There is a ring at the door. Anjali opens and sees that flowers have come. She feels that the flowers have come for her and feels happy. Arnav sees that and tells her that Shyam has not sent them but he has bought them. She feels that these are for her and feels happy. Arnav does not answer.
