June 20th Written Update - Summary

Anandi is locked inside the room by Jyoti’s parents. They increase the volume of the music so that nobody can hear the sound of Anandi’s cries of help. The groom’s parents speed up the marriage process.
Jyoti comes down crying as she does not want to get married. Anandi sees a ventilator in the room and jumps out from there. She reaches inside the venue and tries to stop the marriage. All are surprised to see her. She tries to take away Jyoti from there. Jyoti’s father tries to stop her. She says that she will not let the marriage happen. The groom’s father gets angry and says that she should go away. His armed guards take her away. Just then Dadisa and Bhairon come and a fight ensues between all. The groom’s father throws away Bhairon and Dadisa too. Anandi takes away a gun from one of the goons and aims it at the groom’s father. All are shocked.
The groom’s father says that she can’t kill him as he has not done any crime. He is only marrying off his son. The gun is taken away. His people take away Anandi to throw her out. At this moment, Shiv comes to rescue her. The groom’s people threaten to beat him up. Shiv hits them.
Other people from the groom’s side also come to hit him. Shiv beats up all of them. Bhairon also goes to help him out.
Shiv tells Anandi to go and stop the marriage. She runs inside but the groom’s father points a gun at her. He says that she is behind all this and he will not leave her now.
He shoots. All are shocked. Shiv has come and pointed the gun away from Anandi. Just then police arrives. Shiv says that he had informed the police before coming there. He hits the groom’s father for forcibly marrying off kids and insulting Anandi and her family. The police take him away.
Anandi takes away Jyoti. Shiv asks the inspector to arrest Jyoti’s parents and other people from the groom’s family too.
Anandi thanks Shiv for saving her life. He scolds her for coming alone. Anandi gets angry and says that she had no time as she had to stop the marriage. She sees that Shiv is badly hurt. He asks her to use her home remedies.
