June 18th Written Update - Summary

Jagat is very unhappy as he is feeling jealous of Gauri. He says that he is just an assistant and she is enjoying it. His friends come and ask him for a treat.
Bhairon is talking to Sumitra and asks her to take care of herself besides others.
Jagat is thinking about the way he was treated by people at the hospital. He is feeling lonely as he has no one to share his thoughts with. He picks out his old family photo. He feels that all are there but not for him. He hurts his hand on the broken glass and hangs the photo outside. Gauri sees this. She sees Sumitra’s photo and remembers how they had dared each other. Gauri realizes that Jagat is upset that Gauri did not introduce him as her husband. She says that she wants Jagat to make his own name there. She says that she has faith in him and soon he will become a senior doctor like her. She asks him to trust her.
Shiv is talking to Anandi about the canal project. He wants to speed up the work. His nose starts bleeding. She asks Bhim Singh to get multani mitti. She takes Shiv’s handkerchief and uses her local technique to stop bleeding. Shiv is impressed. She asks him to come to the local ayurvedic doctor with her. Shiv says that he is afraid of needles.
The ayurvedic doctor tells Shiv that ayurved treats a problem from the root itself. He does not want to have the medicine as it tastes awful. Anandi makes fun of him. The doctor says that he will send the other medicines to his circuit house. Anandi talks with him about Jyoti complaining about his medicines. She is told that he is not treating her. Anandi starts wondering why Jyoti’s parents lied to her. She decides to meet Jyoti’s parents.
She reaches Jyoti’s house to find it locked. She wonders where they have gone with an ill child. She decides to ask the neighbors and realizes that all the neighbors have also gone away. She decides to look for the mehendi wali and ask her.
