June 11th Written Update - Summary

Dadisa is asking Ashima why she is not married till now. She says that she could not find the right kind of guy. Dadisa says that she will find a guy for him. Ash says that she will like a guy like Shiv for herself. Dadisa does not like this. She says that Ashi will not be able to adjust here. For being here, she needs to be strong like Anandi as she does three things together. Ashi is impressed.
Gehna calls them for food. Dadisa wants Anandi to sit next to Shiv, but Ashi takes her place. Dadisa does not like this. She realizes that Shiv is not even looking at Anandi but she is determined to ensure that Shiv marries Anandi only.
Ashi is enjoying the food. Gehna asks if she enjoyed the wedding in India. She says that she enjoyed but found it weird. This is because the girl and the boy hardly knew each other. Anandi says that this is what happens in India. Love marriage only happens in urban areas. In rural areas, the marriages are fixed by parents and the children accept it as they have full faith in their parents. She explains this in detail to Ashi in English and all are highly impressed. Shiv tells Ashi to spend more time with Anandi as she will be able to tell her much more about the Indian culture.
Ashi is expecting a hand bowl for washing hands. She is told that there is no such thing here. She is taken to the wash basin by Anandi.
Ashi is saying that she has eaten a lot. She admires Anandi’s dress and jewelry. She wants to try her clothes.
Shiv is telling Basant that Kewal is a good contractor and now the canal project will go on well. Dadisa informs Shiv that Anandi is not their daughter but their daughter-in-law. He says that he is well aware. He says that he is impressed that Anandi has no complaints against her elders. Anybody would have broken down after this but Anandi has remained strong. Dadisa says that now she is the daughter of the house and her divorce is about to get over.
Shiv says that he knew that it could not be due to Anandi’s fault as all in the house love her. Besides, Anandi has a positive outlook towards life. Dadisa wants to propose to Shiv for Anandi when Ashi comes down wearing Anandi’s clothes.
