June 8th Written Update - Summary

Jagat gets a call from the SNG hospital for an interview. He is happy. He wonders as he has not applied there. He feels that it may be through a placement agency. He does not want to inform Gauri as he wants to surprise her. He needs new clothes for the interview so he calls Gauri for money. Gauri says that already too much money has been spent this month. Jagat gets upset and says that he will buy new clothes with his own money.
Anandi and Gehna are cooking for Shiv. Anandi is upset that they are doing so much effort for Shiv’s guest. Dadisa says that it is the responsibility of the Sarpanch to take care of Shiv’s guest. Anandi says that she should not praise her in front of Shiv. She tells her to touch the feet of Shiv’s guest and do tilak too.
The guests arrive. All come out to welcome them. Dadisa is upset to see Ashima. Ashima loves the haveli. Shiv introduces her to Dadisa. He thanks her for organizing everything. Basant asks them to sit. Anandi does tilak of Ashima and Shiv.
Shiv informs that they both studied together in London. She holds his arm and Dadisa does not like that. She thanks Dadisa for the arrangements.
Dadisa is upset with Ashima and her clothes. Anandi tells Dadisa that it appears that Shiv and Ashima love each other. Dadisa is shocked and unhappy. She finds it vulgar and wonders if they will get married.
Ashima asks Anandi to join them. She sits. Ashima asks if she is really a sarpanch. She has seen a lot of Hindi movies where the sarpanch is old, big and has moustache. Dadisa is still dreaming that Shiv should marry Anandi only. Ashi informs that she had come for a wedding to Udaipur and has come to meet Shiv as he is her best friend.
Dadisa asks Ashi if she is married. She says that she could not find a guy like Shiv in London.
