June 5th Written Update - Summary

Hait Singh tells Shiv that Anandi is not a good woman. She has had affairs besides her husband. She had run away with a boy much younger her age. He also warns Shiv. Shiv tells him that he carries his resignation with him and is not scared of the clout enjoyed by Hait Singh. He also tells him not to say anything against an intelligent, smart and sensible girl like Anandi. He also said that he was well aware that Shambhu had worked on his behalf. Thus he should be thankful that Shiv had not handed him over to the police.

Anandi is hearing all this. Shiv is not aware of this. He thanks Anandi for warning him. Anandi says that she was a fool for warning an intelligent person like Shiv. Gauri is thinking about what her mother said about getting a job for Jagat. She talks to her senior doctor about getting a job for Jagat. He asks her to contact admin.

Jagat is in the admin and is enquiring about getting her transferred to Bangalore. The admin asks him to put in an application. Gauri comes in and tells him that they will talk about this at home.

Anandi is thinking about the time when she was kidnapped by the people sent by Hait Singh. She reaches home and Dadisa and Gehna are surprised to see her so disturbed. Basant asks her about the meeting at Collector’s office. She tells them all about the scene created by Shambhu at the office. She tells how they could prove that it was Shambhu’s conspiracy. They all say that Shambhu is brave and intelligent. Dadisa says that he is good looking and strong too. Anandi says that Dadisa is talking like a matrimonial advertisement. Dadisa says that he will get a bride and she will be very lucky. Anandi says that they should not bother about his marriage as it does not concern them. Dadisa says that this topic concerns them as Anandi will be the bride.

Gauri comes home. Jagat tries to cajole her and asks her to get ready for an evening out. Gauri asks how he dared to go to her hospital and talk about her transfer. Jagat says that he feels jealous when he sees Gauri’s progress. He wants to end his life. Gauri feels upset.
