June 4th Written Update - Summary

Hait Singh comes in and speaks to Shiv. He says that even if he has not been given the canal tender, but he will still oversee the whole project. He tells Kewal to do the work properly. He also apologizes to Shiv for misbehaving with him the other day.
Shambhu refuses to wait any longer and walks into Shiv’s office. He says that Shiv has not done his work in a proper way. Anandi asks him to be quiet. Shambhu says that nobody has talked about her so she should not speak. She is guilty and hence objecting.
Shambhu says that Collector had asked him for 10 lacs. He refused but Kewal had paid up so he has got the contract. Shiv says that this is untrue. Hait Singh asks Shambhu to prove it. Shambhu asks for a search of Shiv’s home and office. Hait Singh allows him to search. He says that in case nothing is found, he will never forgive Shambhu. They all begin to search. Meanwhile, his PA is called by someone. Then Shambhu spots a briefcase. He opens it and all are surprised. It has only clothes and a water bottle.
Shambhu is surprised. Shiv says that these are jogging clothes as he sometimes does jogging after office. The villagers get angry with Shambhu for wasting their time. Shambhu says that he knows that the bag contained money. So they should search his house. Shiv says that he is right. The money was definitely there in that bag.
He takes out gloves and pulls out a bag from the drawer. He says that the money is in that bag. He calls people from the forensic department. He says that he had been warned earlier (by Anandi). He explained how Shambhu had stolen the key but the guard had watched everything and informed him. Shiv called the forensic experts to match the fingerprints on the office lock, bag and the glass just used by Shambhu to have lassi. All are same. His fingerprints are taken again and tested on the computer in front of all. He is taken to jail. He gets angry and tells Shiv that he will take revenge. All the villagers apologize to Shiv. Hait Singh also leaves.
