May 28th Written Update - Summary

Gauri is happy to see Jagat. She asks how he has come there. He says that he had gone for an interview. She asks if he has got the job. He says that he did not like the place. He wants to work in a big hospital like her. She says that he should have taken the job. Jagat wants to take her out for lunch. She refuses as she is on duty. She asks him to have lunch with her in the canteen. Jagat refuses. They both say sorry to each other. Then he goes with her to the canteen.

Anandi thanks Shiv for dropping her home. She tries to caution him against Hait Singh. Shiv says that he knows his work. He will not make a decision based on somebody else’s opinion. Anandi says that she just wanted to ensure that Hait Singh does not harm Jaitser. She also says that there are people who learn from other people’s mistakes. Some don’t. Her jewelry gets left behind in the jeep. Shiv keeps it in his pocket.
Jagat has food with Gauri in her canteen. She is greeted and appreciated by all in the canteen. She talks about Senior Doctor, Dr. Khanna, who has asked her to be in his team. She introduces Jagat to him. Dr. Khanna asks Jagat where he works. Gauri tells him that Jagat is preparing for his exams and will work after that. Jagat feels bad and goes away without having lunch.

Anandi comes to school and sees the Collector’s jeep outside. She peeps in and finds Shiv chatting with the school kids. He is asking riddles. Anandi enters. Shiv says that she is late. Then he leaves. Anandi asks how he liked the school. He says that she has made the effort. But the basic infrastructure is lacking. She says that the request has been made. Shiv says that he will do whatever he can. Anandi says that she does not want his help. She will do on her own. Shiv gives back her jewelry that fell in the jeep.
Jagat is looking in the kitchen and finds no food. He is very hungry and has a banana. Gauri comes home with some packets. He tells her that he is hungry and hopes that she would have got some food. She says that she only did shopping for herself. Jagat gets angry. She says that she needs clothes as she has to go out. She is earning so he needs to do the household work.
