May 18th Written Update - Summary

Dadisa and Anandi see off Sumitra. Bhairon forgets that Sumitra is not there. He is missing her a lot. He keeps on remembering her as she is much more than a wife or a friend. She has become a habit. Anandi says that Sumitra must be missing him much more as she is alone there. Bhairon asks Anandi to take rest as she has been working the whole day.

Shagun is waiting in Anandi’s room to hear a story, but Anandi says that it is too late. She says that she wants to sleep with her. She also asks Anandi about the Collector. She says that he was just like Surya Badal who saves people on horseback. Anandi remembers her dream as well as the scene when she was saved by Shiv. Anandi says that the Collector is a real human being while Surya Badal is only in books.

Gauri is trying to wake up Jagat. He does not want to wake up as he does not have to go anywhere. Gauri asks him not to spoil his future. He needs to decide whether he wants to give his MS exam or take up a job. He should not waste time watching TV and getting up late in the morning. Jagat gets angry and says that Gauri is trying to show that she is hard working while Jagat is useless. Gauri insists on him getting up to have breakfast together.

Anandi informs Dadisa that Bhairon is missing Sumitra and did not wish to have breakfast. Dadisa tells him to have breakfast. Gehna and Basant say that they should have sent Bhairon also to US.

Anandi has to go for a meeting to the Collector’s office. Dadisa starts dreaming about Shiv as a groom, and asks Anandi to make something fresh for her immediately. She asks her to make poori, halwa and chutney immediately. She asks her to put a lot of dry fruits. Then she asks her to pack the food. Anandi wants to give the tiffin to Dadisa but Dadisa asks her to take it for the Collector as he is staying without family. This way she will thank him for saving her. She tells Anandi to serve him herself. Then she asks her to change clothes. She gives her bright, festive clothes to wear. She wants her to spend as much time as possible with Shiv and is praying for that.
