May 17th Written Update - Summary

Naitik and Akshara along with Varsha and Shaurya sing “Happy Birthday” for Anshu in the night. Then he is asked to sleep, but he is too excited to sleep. Varsha and Akshara are concerned that they are not allowed to wear a saree to Anshu’s party.

Samar is planning to just drop Dia and come back from the party. He has no plans to stay. Meanwhile he is looking for the number of Anshu Maheshwari but is not able to find it. He is also looking for the girl to whom he has to give back the bangle.

Akshara says that she is planning to leave Naksh at home and go for the party. Gayatri does not like this. But Naitik says that they all have to go out also after the havan, so it is better to leave Naksh at home. Bhabhima says that it is better as it is very hot outside. Gayatri is not happy about all going out to eat outside as birthday should be celebrated along with the family. Naitik says that the kids like to do as they want nowadays. Akshara informs Gayatri that she has kept all the things of Naksh in a bag so that she does not have to go up for them.

Anshu touches everyone’s feet. Then he cuts the cake. Akshara gives him a lot of gifts. But he says that he would prefer a black T shirt. He says that he will wear a black T shirt in the evening. Shaurya smears cake on Anshu’s face. Shaurya asks Naitik to help him with the arrangements. Kakisa is concerned that Anshu will be alone in the evening during his birthday. Akshara asks her not to worry as they all will be there with him at the hotel.

Varsha and Akshara are deciding upon the salwar kameez to be worn in the party. Shaurya and Naitik get skirts for them so that they would look cool. Anshu is delighted when he hears this.

Anshu’s father states that the manager has been informed and all preparations have been made. They say that Varsha should leave Ananya at home. Anshu and others leave for the hotel. Akshara leaves the dress packets at home.

Om is feeling bad that he has no life in his children’s life. Dadima tells him not to get upset and change with the times.

At the hotel, Shaurya and Naitik ask Varsha and Akshara to change as they have brought the dress packets with them. They keep on looking when Varsha and Akshara change and come. By mistake, Anshu’s birthday cake falls down. Naitik and Shaurya also leave for some work.
