May 17th Written Update - Summary

Purvi is crying thinking about everything that Arjun said. She opens her diary to look at Arjun and her photo. A song plays at the background “kuch toh tha tere mere darmiya”. She remembers that how she and Arjun fought for the photo. Remembering all this she cries even more. The door bell rings Purvi opens the door Archana comes in urgently and enquires why Purvi came back early from the party. Purvi replies that she had headache. Archana asks Purvi why she is so upset after Ovi and Arjun’s engagement. Purvi says that she was upset to see how Archana while loving her children all her life. Still could not get the share and love that she deserves begin their mother. Archana says that she wants to but she knows that it is not possible because both her children hate her. She is satisfied that she can be with her children even if they do not know that she is their mother. Puvi again asks her if she longs to be with Manav Archana replies that she wants to but now they are getting separated. Early morning door bell rings Archana opens the door. Panditji had came to discuss the date of marriage of Ovi and Purvi. 

Archana asks if this all dates are within three months . Panditji replies that all good dates are after three months but Manav insisted on dates within three months. Archana tells him to give date after three months. Purvi tells Teju that she is not feeling well and she won’t go to office. But Teju says that she should go to office otherwise Arjun and Ovi won’t get time to be together.

Manav tells Archana that even when he had told Panditji to fix date of marriage within one months, he has fixed date of marriage after three months. Archana tell him that she has asked Panditji to fix date after three months. She says that she knows that she will after three months and won’t be able to attend her marriage but she is not selfish she wants everything good for her children. Like all mothers she puts life of her children before her happiness. Manav say that he is never able to understand her who she is. He holds her face and asks her to come back in his life, he says that he knows that she love him. Archana says that what he thinks selfishness, is only her demand for her rights and that she should get what she deserve. Manav asks him why she denied to sign on divorce papers and said that she wants the alimony first. He gets upset and leaves. Archana cries in remorse as she knows that her relation with Manav is broken beyond repair and that any hope of their getting back together has ended.
