May 16th Written Update - Summary

The episode starts off with Priya and Daddi who are having an intense conversation in the Kapoor Mansion mandir. Priya tells Dadi that she need her help as she is set out to fight a battle. Daddi is shocked and Priya tells her that it is a battle of good against evil, and daddi tells her Priya always has her support, but she needs to know what she can do to help. Priya tells daddi, that no matter what she says daddi has to always, oppose it. Daddi is confused and Priya tells her everything.

In the Sharma house, Shipra is in a good mood, as Priya has gone home to start afresh with her husband. Sudhir is still sceptical about the whole thing and thinks Priya is hiding something from him. Shipra says even it is so she knows her daughter is strong enough to handle it on her own.

Ram enters the Kapoor house, and every one gather around. Ram is anxiously looking for Priya, and Priya comes in front of him. Ram has the biggest smile on his face, and Niharika assures him it is Priya. Ram looks at Priya and thanks her for coming back home. He asks her to bring out her hands, and hands her a set of bangles and Priya accepts it.

Ram asks Priya what is she thinking about, and Priya tells him, tht since he has given her such a beautiful present, she also has something in store for him. She hands him an envelope and asks Ram to open it. Ram opens it with a big smile, and is shocked to see divorce papers. He asks Priya what does she mean by this, and PRiya tells him, that she has had enough of his snoring, yelling and constant bickering. She had gotten married to Ram just because of him money, and this is what it is. She does not want to pretend anymore, she wants exactly what she is due for, half of Ram’s empire. Everybody is shocked but Niharika is smiling at the development. Ram does not know what to say and leaves.

Priya remembers the conversation she had with Vikram, where she tells him about her plans of divorcing Ram. She tells him how it is necessary for the empire to move into safe hands, and that is what she is doing. Vikram smiles and tells her Ram is lucky to have a wife like Priya.

Review: This episode definitely had a massive twist. What will be interesting to watch is how Priya manages to convince Ram about her innocence. Common, there has to be a better way to reveal Niharika’s true identity.
