May 11th Written Update - Summary

The team from the Chief Minister’s office goes to Anandi’s house and enjoys their hospitality. Anandi tells them that the school girls want to do a cultural program at the function. Bhairon asks them if they are happy with the preparations. They are quite happy and impressed with Anandi’s work. They talk about their existing Collector, Shivraj Shekhar who is highly disciplined and short tempered.

Dadisa says that Anandi should do a good work this time. She says that the Collector appears to be more difficult to please than the Chief Minister. She says that he would surely be very impressed with Anandi.

Jagat is thinking about his getting insulted by Anandi. He throws down his family photo. Gauri is very happy. Jagat tells Gauri that he does not need such a family. She asks him to change his mood. She tells him about her first day at the hospital. She is thrilled but that makes Jagat upset.

Suguna tells Anandi that Shyam and Suguna will not attend the wedding as Shyam’s cousin is getting married. The kids only will come. The traders come and show Dadisa and Gehna the various clothes they have got. Dadisa does not like those clothes. She says that this event is much more than just a prize giving ceremony. She feels that it will be bringing a lot of happiness in Anandi’s life. She asks Anandi to choose new dress and jewelry. Anandi says that she already has enough, but Dadisa insists.

Anandi is telling a story to the kids at bedtime. She tells them about a superhero who goes around on a horse. He is very helpful to everybody. He helps old and young alike. There is a princess who has been kidnapped. The superhero takes out his sword and kills him. Then he wants to drop the princess back. But the princess says that she wants to see his face first. She dreams the same story when she is sleeping. She sees someone riding on horseback but is not able to see his face.

Dadisa is waiting for Anandi to get ready. She is concerned as they have to pray before leaving. Also, it will take time to reach the venue. Gehna asks her not to worry. Just then Anandi comes down with Sumitra. Both Gehna and Dadisa keep on looking at her as she is looking so pretty.
