May 7th Written Update - Summary

Priya runs behind Dr Patil and calls out for Jayesh Karekar. Dr Patil panics and run away, but Priya follows him to his room. He calls up the reception and tells them to prepare the bill as he is leaving immediately. Priya walks into the room and confronts him. He asks her what she wants out of him, and Priya asks him his connection and past with the Kapoor house. Dr Patil refuses to comply and Priya threatens him about informing the police that he is practicing medicine under a false name.

Priya tells Dr Patil that he is the only one who could help her, and it is not mere coincidence that he has treated her father, he was meant to help her.

Dr Patil tell Priya that whom she knows as Niharika Kapoor, was once Niharika Karekar, and his wife. They had a small, happy family, but Niharika wanted more out of life. She wanted money, and was never satisfied with what Jayesh got home. Ram was about 20 and he lived with his father and mother and they were happy. Amarnath Kappoor started visiting Dr Jayesh for treatment, and Niharika started getting close to him. Soon she and her brother influenced Amarnath Kapoor so much that he listened only to the two of them. Krisna was disowned and Ram was left to Niharika’s mercy. Dr Jayesh says that Niharka has ruined many lives and now she is set to ruin, Ram’s. Priya intervenes and says she will never let that happen.

Niharika is in her room and thinking about the whole scheme when Priya walks in and tells her she is ready to leave Ram. Niharika is really happy and tells Priya that she is a smart girl.

Everyone is at the dining table and eating except for Ram. Niharika tells him that it’s not good for him to take skip food because of what’s happening. Ram just tells Niharika about Natz, when Natz walks into the house. Everyone go to Natz and Niharika asks her where was she all these days. Natz says, in a meditation centre, and Priya is infuriated. She turns to Ram and yells at him for insulting her family for this sister who was sitting in a meditation centre without informing anyone. She reminds him how everyone in her family had told him that Karthik cannot do that, but he just dint listen. She reminds him of her ailing father, and all thanks to Karthik going to jail. Ram has nothing to say, and Priya tells him, she is going to live with her brother, and parents whom she dearly loves, and pleads for him not to stop her.

Review: This is exactly what we have been waiting for all these days. What an episode! It would be fun to see what stance Ram takes after Priya leaves and goes, I hope he follows her.
