May 4th Written Update - Summary

Jagat goes to meet the Dean. Dean asks why he has come. Jagat apologizes for not being able to meet his expectations. He says that he had family problems so he had to leave work and go. Dean says that for Jagat, family commitments are more important than work. Also, he does not like Jagat’s attitude. He refuses to refer his name to the trustee for letting him sit for MS exam. Jagat says that the Dean’s attitude is also not good. He is rude and spoiling student’s career. Dean asks him to leave the room. Jagat says that he has the money. He does not need MS degree. He can open a hospital on his own. And he says that he will run it well and the Dean may have to come there for getting a job.

Gauri is upset about Jagat’s behavior. But Jagat does not feel that he has done anything wrong.

Bhairon calls up Jagat to inform him that he has prepared property papers for him. He asks him to come to Jaipur the next day to take the papers so that he can sign the divorce papers the next day and release Anandi.

Gauri is very happy to hear the news about the property. She shows Jagat the plans that she has made for the hospital while he was away to meet the Dean. She shows the various equipment, rooms, machines and the uniform of the hospital staff. Jagat is not interested in all this as he is disturbed.

Dadisa sees an old photo of Jagat and gets lost in old memories. She remembers how Jagat used to come to her for everything including money. She feels sad that now Jagat has grown up and left his Dadisa altogether.

Dadisa hears the voice of Jagat. She comes out and sees that he has come back along with his luggage. He comes to Dadisa and tells her that he has come back. He does not want any property. He only wants his family back. Dadisa is delighted. She calls Anandi and says that Jagat is back. She goes to everybody’s room but finds that nobody is there. Then she realizes that it was all a dream.

Dadisa is very sad. Sumitra says that it is her fault to have given birth to such a worthless son. Dadisa is lucky to have two good sons.

Gauri asks her to check and ensure that he gets the correct amount of property. Jagat says that he knows his family well. They will not cheat.
