April 17th Written Update - Summary

The episode starts off with Natasha telling Ram that he has only seen the wounds of her physical torture, but her mental torture injuries, remain unattended. She blames Shipra and Ayesha for portraying a different picture, regarding Sudhir’s BP attack, and blowing it out of proportions in front of Karthik, who in turn got provoked.

Natasha plays innocent all along, Priya apologises on behalf of her family and proposes that both the families sit and talk rather than taking it to the police, to which Niharika intervenes, because she thinks it would just resolve the whole issue.

In midst of all this commotion Ram stops everyone and asks Natasha to go to her room, and leaves. Meanwhile, Priya thinks of going to the police station to figure out what to do next.

At Neha – Vikram’s house, the whole family is sitting at the dining table, when Neha says, she had missed her naughty children the whole day, and asked how their day had been. The children tell them how they troubled Uncle Ram, and how Priya Auntie was fun.

Neha turns to Vikram and asks him to put the kids to sleep. Vikram reluctantly agrees, and as they go Neha congratulates herself for being such a brilliant actress and not displaying her anger for Vikram the whole day.

At the Sharma residence, Sudhir, Shipra and Ayesha come home and both mother and daughter start cursing Natasha. The duo keep dissing Natz, when Ayesha realises that her father was just sitting silently and had not uttered a word since they arrived. When she enquires, Sudhir yells at her saying, they have not spared a minute of peace for him to think or say anything. He calls Priya, who is in the car and on her way to the police station. He stops her and asks her to return home, and handle the situation there. He also tells her not to worry as Ram had gotten them out of the Police station.

At the Kapoor house, Natz tells her mother she is afraid the whole thing is blowing out of proportions and she was worried about Karthik’s wellbeing. She also asks her mother about her loyalties, and doesn’t understand what’s playing on her mind. Niharika is irritated with this and asks her not to use her head, and that her loyalties are only towards herself. She threatens Natz by telling her to never get on her wrong side.

Ram enters the house and Priya is waiting patiently at the dining table. She thanks him for bailing her parents and asks him to have dinner and rest, but Ram leaves saying, he’s not hungry. Priya tells her self that Ram has finally seen how her parents are not responsible for whatever had happened; now Karhtik’s innocence is not far behind.

Review

A slow episode, compared to yesterdays, but nevertheless it was fun to watch. Finally we see things in a process of falling into place. Can’t wait for Priya to convince Ram, about Karthik’s innocence.
