Promoting films on popular TV serials is not a new strategy and has been there for a few years now. Recently, it was Vidya Balan who had been reported to be at the shooting of ‘Uttaran’ to hype her upcoming movie ‘Kahaani’ and Kareena Kapoor was also spotted in the promotional spree.

Following suit we have Tusshar Kapoor, the brother of the Queen of Soaps ‘Ekta Kapoor’, who would be making an appearance in ‘Pavitra Rishta’. The serial has been going strong with its rising TRPs and perhaps the Balaji think tank thought it to be a wise move to promote Tusshar’s upcoming ‘Chaar Din Ki Chandni’.

Well, we hope he can reap the benefits since the movie has not been able to generate enough hype yet apart from the remade song ‘Chandni O Meri Chandni’ from the Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi starrer ‘Chandni’ of the 80s.
